2006 NATJA AWARDS COMPETITION PRIZES ANNOUNCED
Travel journalists worldwide are encouraged to enter their best work in the 2006 North American Travel Journalists Association awards competition, which officially opens on July 1. A record 560 entries were received last year, when the contest featured four grand prizes and 41 first prizes.
Prize donations have already been received from Club Med North America, Curacao, Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, the Kimptons of Washington, Mohegan Sun, Monterey County (CA), Colonnade Hotel (Boston), Hyatt Regency Scottsdale, and many more.
Most prizes are three-night stays for two, valid during calendar year 2007, as awards will not be distributed until the end of 2006.
