10 things in Central Arkansas you need to do with your family
Scheduled for June 9-11, Arkansas Family Fun Days is in its third year and again bringing families together with special deals at eight area attractions. This will be the perfect weekend to try one - or several - of the ten things in Central Arkansas you need to do with your family!

Annual Concert by the River scheduled
North Little Rock Parks and Recreation is hosting its annual Concert by the River at the Burns Park Soccer Complex on Saturday, July 15, 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. The concert will feature local band, Tragikly White. Tickets are only $10 for people ages 13 and older; children 12 and under get in free.

Kayak the Arkansas River
When you think of kayaking in Arkansas, you may picture the Buffalo National River or the Caddo River. But now, thanks to Rock Town River Outfitters based at North Little Rock's Rockwater Marina, amateurs and experienced kayakers can see a whole new perspective of the Arkansas River. Guided tours include a two-mile float from Rockwater Marina to the North River Landing and a special evening sunset tour to see the bridges light up. Follow them on Facebook for updates about daily rentals and a Fireworks Float on the Fourth of July.
