|Media Registration for 2016 NATJA Conference Now Open!|

Travel media can now register for the 2016 NATJA Conference & Marketplace which is scheduled for April 4 – 8 in the California Central Coast city of Oxnard. The destination has already put together exciting and informative series of day trips as well as working on amazing pre- and post-conference press trips!
Be sure to check out the activities posted on the website, including a tentative schedule, to give you an idea of what will be offered. In addition, Amtrak® will be offering complimentary rail fare from anywhere in the United States, including a limited number of sleepers, so don’t miss out!
Amtrak® Offering Complimentary Trips for the NATJA ConferenceAmtrak® is pleased to offer all media attendees complimentary train travel to or from Oxnard from any Amtrak® station in the United States!
Long Distance Trips
Train travel is available one-way only for long distance train trips. A very limited number of roomette sleepers will be available to media traveling on long distance itineraries, and will be reviewed by Amtrak. Coach seats are available to all NATJA media attendees on long distance trips. If a train connection is required in Los Angeles, the journey between Los Angeles and Oxnard is Business Class on Pacific Surfliner® trains based upon availability. Click here to read all about.
Short Distance Trips
Round trip rail fare travel is available along the Pacific Surfliner® or San Joaquin® routes. No roomette sleeper options are available on these routes. Pacific Surfliner passengers will receive Business Class seats if available. Coach seats will be available on the San Joaquin route. Note on the San Joaquin Route: Attendees will need to transfer to an Amtrak Thruway bus service from the Bakersfield station to the Oxnard station, approximately a 2 ½ hour ride.
