Arkadelphia to host Marathon Mountain Bike National Championships

Mountain bikers from across the nation will be heading to Arkansas for the USA Cycling Marathon Mountain Bike National Championships May 7 in Arkadelphia. The event will be held at the Iron Mountain Trail System, which is located in the foothills of the Ouachita Mountains and on the south shore of DeGray Lake.

Joe Martin Stage Race celebrates 40 years, attracts top cyclists

Professional and amateur cycling teams head to Fayetteville March 30 through April 2 for the annual Joe Martin Stage Race. Celebrating 40 years, this four-day, four-stage race will host 750 athletes from 27 countries and all 50 states.

Started in 2013 Pinefest  has grown over the first three years, from a 1 day outdoor concert into a to 2 day outdoor music festival, and  attendance has grown by almost 50 percent since the first year.  Pinefest  brings in world class bands and musicians from throughout the NW and as far away as New York to this tiny hamlet in the foothills of the Wallowa Mountains in NE Oregon each September the Friday and Saturday after Labor Day.
