Biography

A former magazine editor, now a freelance travel and health writer, I specialize in the 50+ traveler.

Credits

I have written 12 books ranging from "Diabetes Survival Guide" (Ballantine, 2006)to "Bluebird Rescue." I am a columnist for "Bottom Line Retirement," and wrote a travel column for "New Choices" magazine for over four years until its demise. I have contributed to many newspapers and magazines, including Travel Weekly, the Providence Journal, the Lowell Sun, Honolulu Advertiser, and Westchester Magazine.
My guidebook, "Unbelievably Good Deals and Great Adventures That You Absolutely Can't Get Unless You're Over 50," published by Contemporary Books/McGraw-Hill, is now in its 17th edition (2007-2008) and has sold over a million copies. The only book of its kind that's lasted more than a year or two, it has been called "a treasure trove" for seniors.
