Biography

After freelancing for national magazines, I worked for The Philadelphia Inquirer for many years as an education, political, national and arts reporter, as well as an editor. I've won many awards and fellowships, including an Alicia Patterson Foundation Fellowship and a Fulbright Fellowship to Germany. Since 2001, I've been freelancing arts, travel and food stories to newspapers and magazines.
