Biography

I am currently the Assistant Editor for Bowie Blade-News, a weekly community newspaper with a circulation of 36,000. In my 6-year career at this newspaper, I do page layout and design, take photographs, supervise freelance writers and photographers, make assignments, write stories, edit and proofread. As a "Travel Time" reporter, I have written travel articles and taken photographs of my travels from New York to Florida, mainly staying in the Mid-Atlantic region, over the past year.
I have a journalism degree from the University of Maryland and have over 20 years of experience in publshing. I have edited and co-authored books for several publishing companies.
