Aurélie Resch is a Toronto-based writer. She has lived in South of France, California and Canada. She has hiked, swum, spa-ed, explored, attended film and literature festivals and conducted interviews in forty countries... And loved it. She works both in French and in English. Her credits include: Dreamscapes Travel and Lifestyle Magazine, Metro, L'Express, Toronto Star, TraveLife Magazine, Dabble, Séquences, Cinébulles, Liaison, Queen's Quarterly, Virages, Moebus, La Presse, MSN and Châtelaine. Her interests: outdoors, adventure, culture and heritage, out of the beaten track, luxury and family travel. She won the 2012 NATJA Bronze medal and was a NATJA finalist in 2013. She aslo won the 2012 TMAC award for Best French Feature. As an author, Aurelie Resch has written extensively on exile and the quest of identity. Her ficitons in 2002 and 2005 were finalists for the CBC Readers' Award and for the Trillium Book Award in 2011 and 2012. Aurélie Resch was nominated to the high distinction les Trophées du Sénat Français in 2008 as a result of her many contributions through her work in favour of the French culture and literature.
