I’ve been covering the travel industry for a decade, first as a business journalist for Nielsen Business Media (on staff at Incentive magazine and MeetingNews) then as the founding Editorial Director for the travel-planning Web site TravelMuse.com. I currently freelance for a variety of travel and business publications and Web sites. In college I majored in economics and marketing, then spent 10 years in various corporate marketing and development jobs in Chicago and New York before transitioning into journalism after a year living in Southeast Asia. I've been a lover of travel my entire life and am thrilled that I've been able to make it a central part of my writing career.
