Conference Activities Selections & Waiver

Tours of San Juan and surrounding areas are being offered to all conference attendees on the afternoons of Wednesday and Thursday. The same tours are being offered on each day.

Instagram for work: how to use social media to build your rep as a writer
In this class-meets-workshop, participants will get a quick lesson in how to use Instagram (and social media in general) to build their personal brands, establish legitimacy as a writer, and take, share, and edit photos to accompany their stories. We’ll cover “how-tos,” supplemental apps, and light photo, video, and reel editing, as well as ways to connect with peers and editors. The syllabus will be heavily influenced by attendees, who will be asked to take a short questionnaire when registering to help tailor the class to their needs and interests.

In consideration of the acceptance of my registration for the NATJA Conference, I, and my spouse, family and heirs, executors and administrators, and anyone claiming through and of us, release and forever discharge Travel Professional, Inc. dba North American Travel Journalists Association, and all sponsors, producers, their agents, representatives, successors and assigns of and from all liabilities, claims, actions, damages, costs or expenses which I may now, or in the future, have against them arising out of or in any way connected with my participation in the 2022 NATJA Conference and Marketplace (the “NATJA Conference”) to be held in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and various other locations in and around Puerto Rico (the “Event”), including travel to or from the Event, and including injuries which may be suffered by me before, during or after the Event. I understand that this waiver includes any claims based on negligence, action, or inaction of any of the above parties.
