The mission of the Department of Parks and Tourism is to enhance the quality of life in Arkansas by promoting, protecting, interpreting and managing the State’s natural and cultural resources. Santa Ana, Calif., is a vibrant city, rich in culture, offering authentic flavors reflective of our diversity. Our eclectic art scene blends funky and folk, featuring over 200 murals. Our city is steeped in history, from the county’s first courthouse, built in 1901, to the Heritage Museum. Our unique attractions include the Santa Ana Zoo, Discovery Cube, American Ninja Warrior Adventure Park, and the Bowers Museum. You can shop for brand names and handcrafted goods, from MainPlace Mall to Collective 2One9. The South County Tourism Council is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the towns of Charlestown, Coventry, East Greenwich, Exeter, Hopkinton, Narragansett, North Kingstown, Richmond, South Kingstown, West Greenwich, and Westerly as a leisure travel destination. The SCTC’s promotional efforts include publication of Float, a digital vacation guide; a year-long advertising campaign directed at the leisure tourism market; targeted sales efforts; public relations strategy; participation in numerous trade shows; and a comprehensive website. The SCTC is available to assist travel professionals including media, tour operators, and travel agents, aid in planning a meeting or corporate event, and provide information to help visitors enjoy the destination.
