They are NOT coming to pillage or plunder but will be coming with a song to SING for everyone to enjoy. On Thursday through Saturday, June 9 - 11, 2016, the Norwegian Singers’ Association of America (NSAA) will gather in Sioux Falls, SD for their biennial Sangerfest (singer’s festival). Sangerfest 2016 will be held at the Sioux Falls Convention Center. The public is invited to enjoy some wonderful male chorus singing events.

On Thursday, evening, June 9, the Parade of Choruses will feature 12 individual choruses. On Saturday evening, June 11, the choruses will combine to form a 225-voice mass chorus. The program will feature a variety of Scandinavian and American music as well as a piece written by Sioux Falls composer Deanna Wehrspann. Dr. David Judisch from Decorah, IA, is the Director in Chief for the Sangerfest. Terry Walter from Sioux Falls, SD and director of the Minnehaha Mandskor is the Associate Director for the event.
