Spectators Welcome for Unique Fishing and Golf Pro-Am Tournament at Lake of the Ozarks

Lake of the Ozarks, MO - Pro fishing and golf will become spectator sports November 14-16 at Lake of the Ozarks.

The Missouri Invitational Pro-Am, based at the Old Kinderhook Resort Complex in Camdenton, Mo., will give spectators a chance to follow their favorite fishermen in action on the water and the golf course.

The event, free and open to the public, will feature two days of fishing and one day of golf.  The field includes such nationally known pros as Jeremy Lawyer, Casey Scanlon, Dion Hibdon, Stacey King, Mike McClelland, James Watson and Marcus Sykora.

The fishermen will team with amateur partners to fish Lake of the Ozarks on Nov. 14 and 16, and join local golf pros on the nationally acclaimed Old Kinderhook course on Nov. 15.

Here are your chances to see the pros in action:

  • November 14: The field will launch at 8 a.m. from the boat ramps at the Missouri Department of Conservation's Larry Gale Access (199 Lake Road AA-109D near Roach, MO.). Weigh-in will start at 3:15 p.m. at the resort's skating rink.
  • November 15: Golfers in the scramble-type golf tournament well tee off at 10 a.m. Spectators are welcome to follow their favorite fishermen and their golf pro partners around the course or set up at one hole and wait for the top names to come through.
  • November 16: Fishermen will take off at 8 a.m. at the Larry Gale Access and weigh-in starting at 3 p.m. at the Old Kinderhook skating rink.

The tournament will be hosted by Old Kinderhook and www.BassingBob.com, the authority on Lake of the Ozarks bass fishing. It will be presented by Ulrich Marine and Duncan Fine Jewelry.
