As you probably know, Arkansas is experiencing historic flooding along the Arkansas River, affecting parts of North Little Rock. We are working closely with the City of North Little Rock and the North Little Rock Parks & Recreation Department to keep updated information for visitors. Currently, Downtown Riverside RV Park, North Shore Riverwalk Park, parts of the Arkansas River Trail and the Big Dam Bridge are among the attractions closed until further notice.


 Just going with the flow: Jimmy Buffett festivities relocated

Due to the river flooding, the tailgating festivities scheduled prior to the Jimmy Buffett concert at Verizon Arena on June 6 have been moved north of the sea wall onto Riverfront Drive. At 8 a.m. on June 6, the public entrance at Willow Street and Riverfront Drive will open for tailgaters. Spots are $50 and first-come, first-served. 


Military appreciation discounts in North Little Rock

May was Military Appreciation Month, but attractions in North Little Rock would like to thank members of the military and their families with specials all year long.


 Sip and mingle with ghosts at Four Quarter Bar

Four Quarter Bar may not be the oldest bar but the building does have "restless spirits dating back to the 1900s." Read some of the ghost stories here.

The Baker a hit with guests (and even a few weddings)

In April, North Little Rock's most visible Queen Anne Victorian structure in the historic Argenta Arts District opened its doors as The Baker, a boutique inn run by a local North Little Rock couple. Since then, The Baker has become a popular hotspot for visitors wanting proximity to downtown but the comforts of home (they even make your pets feel comfortable). You can even rent the whole house for an affordable price for private events. 

 


 Tickets on sale now for July 4th fireworks watch party

Expect to feel more patriotic than ever while watching the 36th Annual Arkansas Democrat-Gazette's Pops on the River fireworks show from the deck of USS Razorback submarine! Come out July 4 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. for the watch party. Hot dogs, hamburgers, chips and soft drinks will be available for purchase and there will be a donation bar. Tickets are on sale now for $10 per person (children 5 and under FREE) by calling (501) 371-8320.

 


 Farm to table dinner at Faulkner Lake Orchard

On Saturday, June 22, at 7 p.m., Faulkner Lake Orchard Wedding & Event Center in North Little Rock is hosting a farm-to-table dinner featuring Chef Andrew Gresham for $38 per person. The menu includes cucumber lemonade; purple hull pea hummus; orange and champagne vinegar marinated tomatoes with field greens and shaved parmesan; honey-glazed, sweet-tea-brined pork loin; lemon rosemary roasted chicken breast, and a brulee peach with lemon zest whipped cream for dessert.
