The year is in full swing and our NATJA team has been busy planning for what’s ahead.
If you attended our meetup at IMM, we hope you enjoyed connecting with fellow members! While we could not be there in person, we are grateful to our Advisory Board Co-Chair Gustavo Rivas-Solis for his leadership and being our on-the-ground point person, as well as Advisory Board members Tonya Fitzpatrick and Troy Petenbrink for being wonderful hosts.
Our judges are in the home stretch of reviewing the submissions for the 33rd Annual NATJA Awards Competition. We are always excited to see the caliber of journalism and destination marketing that is reflected every year among the competition winners. Stay tuned for the announcement!
We are happy to announce that Visit Greater Palm Springs has shared with us the tour offerings for the conference. The tour options run the gamut from arts and culture to a Jeep adventure to Joshua Tree, to a trip on the famous Palm Springs Tramway, to a visit to Sunnylands, the desert oasis that has hosted U.S. Presidents and world leaders, and a lot more. This year’s conference will be a remarkable event!
This month we celebrate Black History Month, which acknowledges the many contributions African-Americans have made that are so intrinsically woven into our country’s tapestry.
