Who: Steak Cookoff Association (SCA); North Little Rock Tourism
What: In conjunction with North Little Rock Tourism’s “Setting the Table” initiative, a sanctioned competition of the Steak Cookoff Association (steakcookoffs.com) will be held at the Downtown Riverside RV park on June 21st and 22nd.
When: Saturday, June 22, 2024, 12 p.m. – 6 p.m.

- 1 p.m. – 1:15 p.m. – “Any preparation of Spam” Turn In

- 3:30 p.m. – 4 p.m. – Steak B Turn In
- 4:45 p.m. – 5 p.m. – Rib Turn In

Details: Approximately fifty teams from numerous states will gather to compete for over $8000 in prize money and a coveted “golden ticket” – the opportunity to compete at the SCA World Championships in Ft. Worth, TX, the third week of March 2025. Ancillary competition categories include “anything with Skippy peanut butter”, “any preparation of SPAM” and St. Louis style ribs.
The Steak Cookoff Association (SCA) was formed approximately twenty years ago in Ft. Worth, TX and now annually supports hundreds of sanctioned cooking competitions world-wide. Unlike the various meats smoked and judged on other competition circuits (i.e. Memphis Barbecue Network; Kansas City Barbecue Society), the SCA involves ribeye steaks.
