Our beach has pristine white sand with an natural vibe. It is not over populated and you can enjoy restaurants across the street.
How did you learn about NATJA and why did you join?
I joined in 2023 when I became the Director of Public Relations with the Punta Gorda/Englewood Beach Visitor & Conference Bureau. NATJA came highly recommended as the association to join and meet experienced and professional journalists who would be able work with me to promote our destination.
Is there anything else you feel travel media should know about your destination?
Punta Gorda/Englewood Beach has a small town, relaxed, laid-back atmosphere that gives you and your family a chance to unwind and unplug in a natural setting to explore the outdoors to be one-with-nature! We have a great selection of independently owned restaurants, locally sourced seafood and culinary experiences including “Catch & Cook” where you can catch your fresh fish and bring it to a local restaurant and they will cook it for you.
