GRAPEVINE, TEXAS (June 22, 2026) – Grapevine, Texas, will celebrate Independence Day in historic fashion on July 4, 2026, as the destination’s 44th Annual Fireworks Extravaganza over Lake Grapevine commemorates both America’s 250th birthday and Grapevine Mayor William D. Tate’s 50 years of leadership.
For more than four decades, families and friends have gathered along the shores of Lake Grapevine to celebrate the nation’s independence. This year’s celebration starts at 9:30 p.m. and will feature a 17-minute super-premium pyro-musical orchestrated by Illumination Fireworks. The extravaganza will be complete with shells up to 8 inches in diameter, more than 1,300 breaking effects and a patriotic red, white and blue enhanced grand finale over Lake Grapevine.

Boater/Trailer Parking at Boat Ramps is $20 each.
Parks fill up quickly, so visitors are encouraged to arrive early and stay all day to enjoy the festivities. Once the parking lots are full, no additional vehicles will be admitted.
