The Charleston Area Convention & Visitors Bureau, or Explore Charleston, has been at the forefront of tourism promotion since the 1930s. Today, the organization represents eleven local governments across three counties as their designated destination marketing and management organization (DMMO), connecting visitors from around the world with the people, places and experiences that define the Greater Charleston Area.
