About Me

Morgan Tilton is an adventure journalist specializing in travel, outdoor industry news, and human endurance. Her writing and photography is featured in more than 90 publications including GearJunkie, Outside, Outside Business Journal, Backpacker, SELF, and Men's Journal among others. She's a recipient of 18 North American Travel Journalists Association awards including the 2025 North American Travel Journalist of the Year, following three accolades for the story "Bikepacking Dinétah," in Trails Magazine, published in February 2024. She's contributed live news reporting for 16 trade show events from Outdoor Retailer to the SIA Snow Show, filed pages as the Teton Gravity Research Snowboard Editor, was the WeRunFar Columnist for iRunFar for six years, and secured international stories as a three-time media delegate for the Adventure Travel Trade Association in Japan, Canada, and Jordan.
