I am a co-owner, travel content writer, and photographer for Wanderers Compass Travel Blog. On the blog, we do all the writing and site development. Our mission is to inspire wanderlust in all who dream of travel.

Years ago, I only dreamed of travel, expecting that it would only occur on a screen. My business partner invited me on my first European trip in 2014, and it was a life-changing experience for me.

I wanted to start this travel blog so others can have their travel dreams become a reality. Our goal is to awaken the wanderer in our readers by encouraging them to see the world through authentic and independent travel. We hope to make what seems daunting doable through our storytelling, destination info, photography, off-the-beaten-path finds, travel tips, and resources. With our decades of travel experience, we hope to help others travel to their fullest potential. 

In my personal life, I am in the US Army Reserves as a Military Police Officer with the rank of Master Sergeant, and I have proudly served my country for 21 years. I am currently a full-time student at the University of Maryland Global Campus, pursuing a degree in strategic communications.
