My travel articles have appeared in Next Avenue, Body & More, LA Times Travel Section, SyFy.com, USA Today, Poughkeepsie Journal, Hudson Valley Parent, and more. I was a regular contributor to TravelPulse.com for two years. I have pasted some links to my articles below.
I have written, contributed to, and ghostwritten more than 25 books. Several of them are travel books, including (mine) A Film & TV Lover’s Travel Guide (2018, Globe Pequot Press); (mine) Road Trip, A Sports Lover’s Travel Guide (2020) and Healthy Travel: Don't Travel Without It! that I co-wrote with Dr. Michael P. Zimring.
I am the founder of ReelTravelsMagazine.com and the accompanying Reel Travels podcast (which is currently on hiatus). I focus on film/tv tourism. It’s not the only travel writing I have done, but I love it the most. I don’t just write about film locations, but I also write about television and film museums that are focused on a particular film/tv show or personality. I write about annual events, such as the I Love Lucy Comedy Fest, the Andy Griffith Days, and the museum dedicated to Jimmy Stewart.
My personal travel blog is www.thevirgintraveler.com.
I also write about health, celebrities and more, but on the travel side, this is what I do.
