Dear Friends,
The announcement of the winners of the NATJA Awards Competition is always one of the most exciting times of the year. Please allow me to extend our congratulations to all the winners and especially to our Photographer of the Year Brad A. Johnson; Journalist of the Year Morgan Tilton; Destination of the Year Indiana Destination Development Corporation; and finally, Publication of the Year Travel + Leisure.
Our judges continue to be impressed by the caliber of entries and delighted by the diversity of stories that are told. They remarked on how challenging it was to select winners, to the point that we had ties in several categories. I am proud to say that the majority of the winners were NATJA members. Congratulations to all!
We are finalizing details for our Palm Springs conference and are excited to share the wonderful tours that Visit Greater Palm Springs is providing through their partnerships. Given the current registration numbers, we will have a great turn out of media. Pre and post trips are being planned and we should have that announcement soon.
