Razorback Logo Painting at War Memorial Stadium ahead of historic matchup vs. Arkansas State

WHAT:
Media are invited to War Memorial Stadium to capture the Arkansas Razorback logo being painted on the field (weather permitting). This is a unique opportunity to get early coverage ahead of the upcoming Arkansas Razorbacks vs. Arkansas State Red Wolves game.

During this time, media will have the ability to:

  • Film promotional content as the Razorback, is sprayed on the field
  • Conduct interviews with War Memorial Stadium Manager John Latch
  • Fly drones (with appropriate FAA license and proof of insurance on hand) to capture aerial footage of the painting.

WHY:
This is the first time the Arkansas Razorbacks will face the Arkansas State Red Wolves at War Memorial Stadium, marking a historic moment in Arkansas football. The painting of the Razorback logo provides a visual kickoff to game week and a unique opportunity for media to capture behind-the-scenes coverage that will resonate with fans statewide.

From impressive concerts to miracles on the gridiron, WMS has been home to history since 1948. The stadium has been one of Arkansas’ most beloved venues for 70 years, all while serving as a distinguished memorial to those who have served our country. Centrally located in Arkansas, WMS offers great access to major highways, hotels and restaurants. This traditional open-bowl football stadium has an outdoor seating capacity of 54,000 circling a man-made turf field.
