National Plan for Vacation Day takes place during the last Tuesday in January as a day to encourage Americans to plan their vacation days for the entire year at the beginning of the year. Now more than ever, National Plan for Vacation Day is a chance for travelers to do what is safe and productive: plan. According to the U.S. Travel Association, simply planning a vacation can increase happiness, boost optimism and relieve stress.
