I am very interested in being a part of the East Coast Adventure Trip as EITHER a Pre- or Post-Conference Trip. I had to select one since there was not a way to indicate that above. I would like it to be both my first choice and second choice and hope I can be confirmed for a spot on it either before or after the conference. I am a snorkeler and scuba diver and am very interested in visiting Culebra.

I plan to pitch stories that will result from the trip to the following outlets:

1) Evansville Living magazine (evansvilleliving.com) - A 100+ page, full color, glossy lifestyle and culture magazine, published bi-monthly since 2000. 60,000 readers in addition to its digital platform (25,000+ page views/month).

2) Getting on Travel (gettingontravel.com) - An online magazine focused on the over-50 luxury traveler. Total estimated social media and blog reach more than 250,000+ followers. Receive more than 20K unique visitors per month; Domain Authority is 35. Multi-generational travel is a focus, which I feel could be covered well with the visit to the Rainforest Adventure Park, as well as the Ziplining. (I have Ziplined before in Trinidad and would like to experience this again.)

3) Food, Wine, Travel magazine (fwtmagazine.com) - Online website and bi-monthly digital magazine (ISSUU) of the International Food, Wine, Travel Writers Association, covering food, wine and travel destinations worldwide. (I am an Associate Editor). (15-20,000 views per month)

4) Tropical Travel Girl (tropicaltravelgirl.com) - my own site, focusing on tropical travel. (I am not able to upload a screenshot of my site's analytics for the past six months since I do not have Google Analytic tied into the site. I also have not been publishing a lot there recently due to COVID and no tropical travel, but I hope to change that!)

I can guarantee coverage on 2), 3), and 4). I have an article coming out in the March/April 2022 issue of 1) Evansville Living on a recent trip to the Olympic Peninsula in Washington state, and the Editor is aware I may be pitching a Puerto Rico article in the near future.

I plan to be shooting and editing videos as well as capturing stills. I will also be collecting information for a travel guide and app.

My "Weekend Explorer" TV series has been on hiatus due to coronavirus. Although we are starting to talk with PBS about restarting the series, we are currently preparing hundreds of previously produced travel shorts to launch on our YouTube channel that will be relaunched in April. We have something like 65 videos on YouTube now, but due to rights issues we were not until recently allowed to post more. We have a strong social media following and we will be relaunching WeekendExplorer.com this spring with updated information since the start of coronavirus. During the pandemic, we have been developing a unique style of travel guides and associated app for our many past "Weekend Explorer" destinations. We plan a soft launch of the Beta version for some of these destinations in April.

We also have a pretty strong social media following especially on Instagram.

I would pitch the stories several places starting with the St. Louis Post-Dispatch and Midwest Traveler and Southern Traveler, two AAA publications. I have been a longtime freelancer for all of those publications and so I have a pretty good chance of getting assignments from them. I'd also pitch Group Tour Magazine, and, if there are enough things for young people to do, Student Group Tour Magazine. I write for both of those publications as well. They go to group tour operators planning itineraries for the tours they sell. Although most of the tours are in the continental U.S., Group Tour has carried stories on island destinations.

I would also pitch the stories to other print publications such as the Milwaukee Journal, the Cleveland Plain-Dealer and the Memphis Daily News as well as online outlets such as gonomad.com, travelingmom.com and others.
