Big Bass Bash Fishing Tournament Takes Place This Weekend

WHAT: 2024 Spring Big Bass Bash Amateur Fishing Tournament

WHEN: Saturday and Sunday, April 20 & 21, 2024

WHERE: Throughout the Lake of the Ozarks Area

One of the largest amateur-only fishing tournament in the nation returns to the Lake of the Ozarks this weekend, April 20 and 21 for the 2024 Big Bass Bash. This tournament draws thousands of amateur anglers from across the country to compete to catch the largest bass, which would land them a cash prize of $100,000.

The Big Bass Bash will pay out more than $333,000 in prizes to participating amateur anglers throughout the event, including over $144,000 in bi-hourly payouts. The grand prize of $100,000 goes to the angler that catches the largest bass throughout the tournament weekend with second place winning $20,000, third place taking home $10,000 and fourth place earning $5,000.

In addition to the prize payouts, there also will be a drawing for a brand new 2023 Phoenix 818 fishing boat with Mercury 150 Pro XS motor valued at $40,000. Each participating Big Bass Bash tournament angler is automatically entered into the drawing for the free fishing boat package, which will be awarded on Sunday, April 21 during the awards ceremony at Lake of the Ozarks State Park.
