We are on the cusp of welcoming fall and we eagerly await its crisp embrace. Hot chocolate and pumpkin pie are on the horizon.
As it goes this time of year, we are in the beginning stages of our annual NATJA Awards Competition. We have new and revised categories given the changing landscape of travel journalism. The deadline for submissions is October 31st.
In conjunction with the awards competition, we have launched a membership drive with incentives for media and DMO members. For media members who sponsor a journalist, we are offering $50 off registration for the conference in Fairbanks or a complimentary entry into the awards competition. There is no limit to the number of new members you can sponsor so you have the potential for a complimentary conference in Alaska! See the details in the section below. Our DMO members receive $200 off the conference registration for any new DMO that they refer that also joins.
Speaking of the NATJA Conference, we anticipate sharing more information on the afternoon tours and pre and post press trips next month. If you have not registered yet, now is a good time to do so!
