Charlestown, R.I. There are only a few days left to enter the annual South County Tourism Council Photo Contest! Open to residents and visitors alike, the only requisite of the contest is that the photos are of South County – Charlestown, Coventry, East Greenwich, Exeter, Hopkinton, Narragansett, North Kingstown, Richmond, South Kingstown, West Greenwich or Westerly. There are two categories, “People at Play” and “A Beautiful Place.” South County Tourism Council staff will determine the category a photo will be placed in. Winners selected as follows: first place wins $500, second place $250, third place $120 and four runners-up will receive $50 each. The contest entry deadline is Friday, December 1st by 5 P.M. Winners will be announced December 15, 2023.
